• 1. 24-hour booking or calendar day?

    We do not charge by hours/nights, we charge only by calendar days. If you book for 2 days, this will be mean you have to pick up on day 1 and drop on day 2. not on day3 morning.

  • 2. Security Deposit

    A block of 100,000 yen will be placed on your card for a duration of 7-28 days. This amount will be used for fines, toll road charges or any charges made by the customer. 

  • 3. Required Documents

    Passport, IDP or License Translation, local driver's license. A credit card under the booking person name is also required. 

  • 4. Insurance

  • 5. Age and responsibility

    Driver must be 18+ years old to drive JDM Cars.

  • 6. Cancellations Policy
    • Cancellations made within 3 days of the reservation date: No refund
      - Cancellations made within 7 days: 50% refund
      - Cancellations made within 14 days: 70% refund
      - Refunds are processed to the original payment method. ( 5% card fee )
  • 7. ETC/Tolls Card

    All our cars are equipped with an ETC/Toll card. The amount will be calculated after you return the car.

  • 8. Shuttle Bus

    We provide pick up from Narita Airport 1 & 2. Do email/call/WhatsApp for pickup arrangements. You can also come directly to the branch to pick up.

  • 9. Payment Methods

    We accept Credit cards for online booking.

  • 10. Fines, illegal driving, etc.

    If you receive a traffic violation during your rental, we must report your details to the police. This may affect future entry to Japan (Immigration). Please drive safely and follow all traffic laws at all times.

  • 11. Last Minute Change

    In the event that a reserved vehicle is unexpectedly damaged by a previous customer and becomes unavailable at the last minute, we will provide you with a complimentary car/ upgrade.

  • 12. Pick up/Drop off Timing

    You can pick up/drop off anytime from 9 AM to 6 PM.
