✅ Insurance & Non-Operational Charge (NOC)

Please read carefully — this information is important for your rental.

Our rental prices do NOT include insurance.
Insurance must be added separately during booking.

🚗 Insurance Policy

Item Details
Excess / Deductible (if insurance is used) 100,000 yen per incident
Minor Damage Clause If the repair cost is less than 100,000 yen, you only pay the actual repair cost (for small scratches, paint touch-ups, etc.).
Police Report Required A police report is mandatory. Without it, insurance may not cover the damages.

What to do if damage or an accident occurs:

  1. Stop immediately and do NOT leave the scene.

  2. Call the police (110) and request an official report.

  3. Take clear photos of the damage and surroundings.

  4. Notify JDM Rental Japan and the insurance company.

If no police report is filed, all repair and recovery costs become the renter’s responsibility.

⚠️ Modified JDM Car Notice

All our vehicles feature:

  • Aftermarket body kits

  • Custom paintwork

  • Rare OEM and performance parts

These vehicles require specialized repair shops, and parts are often expensive or require international shipping.

Even small scratches can result in high repair costs due to modified components.

❄️ Not Suitable for Snow / Winter Roads

⚠️ Insurance does NOT cover accidents on:

  • Snowy roads

  • Icy roads

  • Slippery mountain passes

If you drive in snow and an accident occurs:

➡️ Insurance becomes void
➡️ Renter pays 100% of all damages and towing costs

We do not allow our modified JDM cars to be used in snow/snowy environments.

🧳 Travel Insurance (Highly Recommended)

We strongly recommend obtaining travel insurance that covers rental vehicle excess.
This can reimburse you for the 100,000 yen deductible if insurance is used.

💰 Non-Operational Charge (NOC)

If the vehicle cannot be rented due to repairs, a Non-Operational Charge will apply.

NOC Fee Downtime / Impact
Minimum 100,000 yen Covers 1–7 days off-road
Higher fees may apply If repairs take longer (depending on part availability)

NOC compensates for lost rental income while the car is being repaired.

🔒 Final Terms

  • Excess Fee (100,000 yen) and NOC are fixed and non-negotiable.

  • For truly minor damage under 100,000 yen repair cost, you only pay the actual repair amount.

  • Booking a car means you agree to these terms.
